Terms of Participation
1. Applicants are carefully screened by a committee of the European Sync Camps, who will select the participants of the camp. Please note we cannot guarantee any participation. If you are selected but are note able join, please let us know immediately.
2. Participants retain all ownership rights to their share of the created compositions. The European Sync Camps will not have any ownership rights to any song(s) created.
3. Any songs that will be created in the camp are intended to be used in an advertising campaign and will have to be approved by all parties, including potential publishing and/or label partners.
4. The team of the European Sync Camps will be granted an exclusive right to pitch the song for sync for a period of 12 months until 1 May 2026. Within this period no other use for the song is intended – but can be possible om case of approval of all parties (including the European Sync Camps team). This exclusive 12-month pitching period does not include any publishing rights, copyrights or master rights for the European Sync Camps. After that date and if third parties have not taken up your song, you are allowed to offer the song yourself to other parties, and only after consulting with the team of the European Sync Camps first.
6. Terms of use will be communicated in due time before or after the camp and will display a fair compensation.
7. Although the goal of the camp is to place songs in advertising campaigns – there is no such guarantee that this will be the turnout. Every participant should acknowledge this.
8. The travel and accommodation will be taken on by the participants and/or their publishing, label or management partners.
